Gregory Harrison Conaway passed age 40, entered his heavenly home on Friday, July 5 2024. Greg was born on February 10, 1984 to the late Ronnie Conaway and Annette Mullins. In Addition to his dad, he was preceded in death by Grandparents; Harrison Conaway, Zella Conaway Coleman, Adam Deel and Jane Deel, Nephew; Dawson Smith Survivors include: Wife of 17 years: Kayla Conaway Children: Kambree and Karter Conaway Mother: Annette Mullins (Johnnie) Brother: Chad Conaway (Amanda) Step Sister: Vanessa Smith (Brian) Nieces and Nephews: Trevor Smith, Haley Conaway, Cody Smith, Caleb Conaway, Brayden Conaway, Anna Conaway, Cloie Smith and Jacob Conaway Mother and Father-in-law: Darrel and Becky Barton Greg is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly Everyone who knew Greg knew his wife and children were his pride and joy. He never let a day pass that he didn’t let them know how much he loved them in words and actions My baby boy, Greg left this world way to soon. It’s more than a mother can bear, but with the lords help I can. From a baby up, he was always gentle, kind and loving. He, Chad and I went on many Sunday fishing trips after church. He enjoyed fishing so much when he had the time. He and his brother played basketball many happy hours and many other things, they loved each other. He was always a responsible person and tried to do his best at everything he endeavored to do. He had many friends and many loving acquaintances through his work. He always said “Mom, you taught me to do my work with excellency as unto the lord” and he did. My most honored of many things you have done, honey, was when you gave your heart to the lord on your wedding day and wanted to be baptized. You told us you didn’t want to take a chance and be separated in death from your beautiful love, Kayla. Your family was most precious treasure. You were an excellent son; I will forever love and miss you. I will see you soon my baby boy, Greg. There will be a Graveside service July 20, 2024 at 11:000 am in the Barton O’quinn Cemetery (Backbone ridge) Clinchco, Virginia with Keith Dotson officiating and Haley Conaway singing. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mullins Funeral Home for funeral expenses
