James (Jimmy C) Mullins

James Carl Mullins better known as Jimmy C to his family and friends, age 70 passed away at his home on September 19, 2024 with his family by his side. He was preceded in death by his mother Helen P Mullins of Clintwood Virginia, mother in law and father in law Henry and Cora Mullins of Clintwood Virginia, his brothers Junior Wayne Mullins of Clintwood Virginia and Craig Mullins of Latonia Kentucky, his grandfather and grandmother Monroe and Polly Mullins. Survivors include: Wife of 52 ½ years: Garnett Gaye Mullins Son: Jimmy (Missy) Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia A very special nephew that he was so proud to be his poppy, Patrick Stanley Sisters: Nancy (Greg) Hudson of Alexandria Kentucky, Pam Mullins Stanley (Robert) of Clintwood Virginia, Mary McCoy (Carroll Wayne) of Clintwood Virginia, Elizabeth Stanley (Gregory) of Clintwood Virginia, Nina Page (Sam) of Coeburn Virginia, Susan Co (August) of Dallas Texas and Lula Mae Cook (Charlie) of Thornton Kentucky Brothers: Donald Baker (Janie) of Pound Virginia, Rodney Mullins of Wise Virginia and John Mullins (Mae) of Clintwood Virginia A host of nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly Jimmy C enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved spending time with the Christian motorcycle association. Helping to raise funds for worthy causes, they became his family not just friends. They held a special place in his heart. He loved his mornings of breakfast at Hardees where he interreacted with his many friends. As his health declined, he sure missed those mornings. He loved his wood working and was excellent at the things he did. He was loved by all who knew him. He always tried to be there if his brothers, sisters, nephews or nieces needed anything. He truly loved his family and would do anything for them. Jimmy C had a heart of gold, he will surely be missed Services will be Saturday September 21 2024 in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel beginning at 1:00 pm with clergy Hollis Bevins and Randy Damron officiating. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Mullins Funeral Home for the family We would like to thank everyone that donated to make sure he could receive the best care he could get for his cancer and heart problems. Also, for the hospice nurses that have been so good to help care for him. May God bless each and every one of you. It was Jimmy C’s wishes to be cremated
