Loretta R Mullins

Loretta R. Mullins, age 88, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of Clinchco Freewill Baptist Church. She was a Christian for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David L. Baker; her husband, Wendall Stanley; and her last husband, Corbet Mullins; her parents, Glen and Pearl Ratliff; four sons, Douglas Baker, Steve Baker, Richard Stanley, and Kenneth Ray Baker; one infant, Brother Buford; one sister, Maggie; two brothers, Edgar and Bobby Ratliff; one granddaughter, Heather Owens; and one grandson, Jerry Wayne Owens. Survivors Include: Children: Geraldine Owens, of Ohio, Tammy (Dennis) Sykes of Clintwood, Virginia, Glenna Branham of Clintwood, Virginia, Jackie (Lisa) Stanley of Kodak, Tennessee, Danny (Renee) Stanley of Clinchco, Virginia, Joey (Christy) Stanley of White Pine, Tennessee; and daughter in law, Carla Baker of Wise, Virginia Five Sisters: Sadie Lyall of Clintwood, Virginia, Zetta Lyall of Clintwood, Virginia, Rita Cantrell of Ashcamp, Kentucky, Virginia Dare Cooper of Rake, Iowa, and Brenda Gail Edwards of Clintwood, Virginia Two Brothers: Harold Roger Ratliff of Clintwood, Virginia and Billy Ratliff of Richlands, Virginia Her loving comforter: Scooby Special and loving aid: Catie Mullins Adopted Daughter: Pauline Taylor 22 Grandchildren 37 Great Grandchildren 3 Great Great Grandchildren A host of nieces and nephews The family will receive friends at noon on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with funeral service conducted at 1:00 p.m. Due to the health of some family members, masks are required. Danny Stanley and Johnny Turner will officiate. Burial will follow in the Ratliff Cemetery, Blowing Rock Section, Clintwood, Virginia. Dinner will be provided for the family by Clinchco Freewill Baptist Church following the burial at The Clintwood Community Center, Main Street, Clintwood, Virginia. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be granddaughters, sisters, and brothers. Mullins Funeral Home and Staff are serving the Mullins family.
