Patricia Ann Lambert

.Proverbs 31 -- Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. Patricia (Pat) Ann Lambert, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home on December 19th 2024, surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Wallace; her father, Gerald Shoffner; her son, Heath Ailor of Maynardville, Tennessee; her grandparents and several brothers and sisters. Pat is survived by her loving and much-loved husband of 43 years, Bradley “Butch” Lambert of Nora, Virginia; son Earl Ailor (Holly) of Maynardville, Tennessee; her adopted daughter Angela “Angie” Stidham of Clintwood, Virginia; several grandchildren with two special granddaughters, Keshia and Katherine of Tennessee; brother Kenneth Paul of Luttrell, Tennessee; and sisters, Janet Keener, Kodak Tennessee and Glenna Mowery, Knoxville, Tennessee and half-sister Sandra Greene of Maynardville, TN. Pat received her physical therapist assistant certification from Wytheville Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree from Old Dominion University, and a master’s degree in Science and Education with a major in Health and Physical Education from Virginia Tech. She retired as a PTA, after having worked for several health care companies. Pat loved her work and took great pride in the care she gave her patients. To know Pat was to love her; she loved people. She was a true friend to many and always ready to lend a helping hand. Pat was a faithful member of the McClure Community Church and an avid member of the McClure River Kiwanis, having worked with children for many years. Pat always had a smile on her face and love in her eyes. Pat shared Butch’s love for motorcycles and together they made several trips across the United States. When Butch and Pat started raising farm animals, Pat was always there to bottle feed a newborn or help at feeding time. Pat’s kindness and gentleness was apparent in the care she gave to all animals. Pat is survived by her fur friends and farm animals, whom she loved. A special thanks to Angie Stidham for all the love and care she gave Pat during her sickness. Pat will be dearly missed; taken too soon but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution in Pat’s memory to the McClure Community Church at P.O.
