Al Edward Branham

Al Edward Branham, age 88, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2020 at Hoston Valley Hospital in Kingsport, Tennessee. He was born and raised in Dickenson County and was a retired coal miner. He was also a veteran of The Korean War where he served in the army. Mr. Branham was a member of Ramey Flats Church of The Brethren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Prudy Jane Branham; his parents, John and Elise Branham; his sister, Edith Faye Stone; his brother, Bill Branham; and his granddaughter, Ashley Elkins. Survivors Include: Best Friends: Jack and Pauline Taylor and Geraldine Mullins Daughter: Teresa Branham and husband, Ronald Puckett of Clintwood, Virginia Grandchildren: Navanna Salyers, Reese Freeman, Jessica Hartsock, and Richard Hartsock The family will receive friends Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. with a song service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Lester Mullins will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mullins Cemetery, Foxtown Section, Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Puckett, Reece Freeman, Bobby Dotson, Gene Mullins, Bobby Hammons, Ernie Mullins,and George Boyd. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Taylor, Dewey French, Ellis Leftwich, and Sammy Stone.
