Alcieberry “Berry” Mullins, age 84, of Blountville, TN (formerly of Pound, VA) went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021 at The Waters of Bristol Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. He is preceded in death by his parents, Dussie and Freeling Mullins; his grandparents, Nancy and Willard Mullins; one son, Sherman Freeling Mullins; one stepdaughter, Michaela Maine; brother-in-law, Elbert Ray Mullins; and daughter in law, Carol Mullins. Survivors Include: His Wife: Glenda Mullins Three Children: Dean (Cindy) Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia, Kendale Scott Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia, and Denice (Zack) Olinger of Galax, Virginia One Stepdaughter: Felecia (Ron) Leonard of Bristol One Sister: Mary Lois Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia One Brother: Alger Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia 11 Grandchildren 14 Great Grandchildren Several nieces and nephews His best buddy: Baxter The family will receive friends Monday, November 29, 2021 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. with Chris Strange officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 where a short prayer service will be conducted and the procession will leave at 2:30 p.m. to go to the Mullins Family Cemetery where the graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be Robbie Mullins, Daniel Mullins, Kris Mullins, Justin Mullins, Cody Mullins, Sam Olinger, John Olinger, Derrick Widener, Jake Freeman, and Joe Yates. Honorary pallbearers will be Claude Rose, Loye Mullins, and Kenneth Mullins. Mullins Funeral Home and Staff are serving the Mullins Family.
