Brenda Sue Davis, age 74, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022 at her residence. She was born in Knoxville, Tennessee and had lived in Wise County for the last twenty years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dungannon. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Wilda Lumpkin; and her brothers, Andy Lumpkin, Tommy Lumpkin; and her sisters, Linda Scarbrough and Franis Moore. Survivors Include: Children: Patricia and Bill Peak of Pound, Virginia, Judy Farmer and husband, Randy of Coeburn, Virginia, and Lisa McCarter of Jefferson City, Tennessee One Sister: Hilda “Sis” Haynes of Knoxville, Tennessee Nine Grandchildren: Sheila Perry, Tiffany Carver, Brittany Creed, Brandon Davis, Cheyanne Mullins, Judy Peak, William Peak, Josie Peak, and Tabatha McCarter Three Great Grandchildren: Lexie Gibson, Hannah Gibson, and Chloe Carver Three Great Great Grandchildren: Will Creed, Keaton Creed, and Jenson McCarter A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Thursday, August 11th, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Clifton Cauthorne officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mullins Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Mullins Funeral Home and Staff are serving the Davis family.
