Deborah Jane Owens Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Deborah Jane Owens passed away Friday, July 1st, 2022 at Johnson City Medical Center. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was of the Jehovah’s Witness faith. She was proceeded in death by her parents, Arnold and Marie Willis, Brother’s John Willis, Charles Willis and sister Christin Viers. Survivors: Spouse: Teddy Owens of 52 years Three Children: Jacqueline Anders and Fiancé, Terry Hale, Joey Owens and wife Lydia and Aaron Owens Three sisters: Nancy Marshall of Ypsilanti, Michigan, Barbara Yates of Bartlick, Virginia, Dinah Sykes and Husband Leon of Abingdon, Virginia Eight Grandchildren: Zackary Charles, Justin Gilbert, Kendra Gilbert, Nathaniel Owens and Wife Teagan, Bonnie Blevins, Joey Owens, Zachary Hale, Sierra Mullins Two Great Grandchildren: Zoey and Casen Pallbearers will be Joey Owens, Terry Hale, Aaron Owens, Nathaniel Owens, Justin Gilbert, Zackary Charles, and Paul Livsay. Honorary Pallbearers will be Leon Sykes, Rex Owens, Curt Deel, Jerry Owens, and Steve Farmer. The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 6th at 6:00 p.m. where a funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Toby Counts officiating. Family and friends are asked to meet July 7th at 10:00 a.m. where the procession will precede to the Counts Family Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m. Graveside service.
