Earl Fleming Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Earl Fleming, age 75, of Clintwood passed away Monday, July 11, 2022 at Heritage Hall Nursing Home in Big Stone Gap, Virginia. He worked for years in the coal mines, beginning at the age of 16 until his health got so bad he had to give it up. He loved to hunt and fish and always talked about hoping he could get able to go again, but never got to. He was preceded in death by his dad and mom, George and Phoebe Fleming; infant brother, Ervin Fleming; his brother he loved dearly and missed, Virgil Fleming, and a special nephew, Rick Blansett. Survivors Include: His Wife: Susie Fleming of Clintwood Son: George (Brittany) Fleming of Lebanon, Virginia Daughter: Jessica Fleming Sister: Dorothy Blansett of Clintwood, Virginia Brothers: Perlie, Creed, and Kenneth Fleming, all of Clintwood Grandsons: Nick and Cody Honaker of Clintwood Granddaughter: Phoenix Fleming of Lebanon, Virginia A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services at 7:00 p.m. with Darrell Milgrim officiating. A graveside service will be conducted Friday, July 15, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Phipps Memorial Cemetery. Burial will follow. Pallbearers will be family and friends. Earl was a loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather and will be missed so much by his family and all that knew him. Your suffering on earth is over. RIP until we see you again!
