Gleta Fay Stanley, age 80, passed away at Bristol Regional Medical Center on Tuesday December 10, 2019. She was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her husband; Lowell Stanley; her parents, Rosco and Vanie Robinson; and her son Carroll Stanley. Survivors Include: Son: Donnie Stanley of Coeburn, Virginia Sisters: Martha Elkins of Abingdon, Virginia, Pina Waters of Maryland, Helen Solesbee of Amissville, Virginia, Judy Phipps of Clintwood, Virginia, and Lois Bartee of Glen Burnie, Maryland Nephew: Walker Holsapple of Lick Fork Several nieces and nephews The family will receive friends Friday, December 13, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Lane Cemetery, Lick Fork Section, Coeburn, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Donnie Stanley, Rick Mullins, Rather Mullins, Roy Mullins, and Walker Holsapple. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mullins Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Mullins Funeral Home and Staff are serving the Stanley Family.
