Hank Shannon Mullins, age 49, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a 1990 graduate of Clintwood High School. He loved working with the youth of Dickenson County serving over Clintwood Youth Football for many years. A wonderful father, son, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Jake Elkins; and his paternal grandparents, Rufus and Rita Bell Mullins. Survivors Include: Two sons: Caleb Chester-Mullins and Bryson Mullins One Daughter: Bailee Mullins His Parents: Hank and Sandra Mullins One Brother: Christopher (Chesney) Mullins Two Grandchildren: Aubrey and Gunner Grandmother: Peggy Elkins One Nephew: Tyler Mullins Two Nieces: Haley Mullins and Brinley Mullins Cousin like a Sister: Brittany (Brandon) Bise Several other special cousins The family will receive friends Monday, August 1, 2022 from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Celebration of Life services will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Grayson Cothron officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Caleb Chester-Mullins, Bryson Mullins, Chris Mullins, Tyler Mullins, Roley Bowman, and Brandon Bise Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian “Scoop” Mullins, Michael Robinson, Shane Mullins, Steve Mullins, Bobby Mullins, Jr., Charles “Chuck” Hill, Brady Mullins, and Michael Steele.
