James Everette Mullins, age 80, passed away Monday November 2, 2020 at Heritage Hall, Big Stone Gap, Virginia. Most people knew him as Pup. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guy and Lelia Mullins; two sons, James Brian Mullins and David H. Mullins; and one sister, Mertie Jane Johnson. Survivors Include: Three Sons: Jimmy Mullins (Donna) of Clintwood, Virginia, Jake Mullins (Jaime) of Clintwood, Virginia, and Scott Mullins of Mechanicsville, Virginia One Stepson: Jessie S. Mullins (Michelle) of Clarksville, Tennessee Two Daughters: Pam Mullins Colley (Johnny) of Titusville, Florida and Malisa Miller (Ronnie) of Saltville, Virginia Four Brothers: Joe (Carol) Mullins of Rogersville, Tennessee, Jerry (Shelia) Mullins of Church Hill, Tennessee, Larry (Claudetta) Mullins of Pound, Virginia, and Fred (Peggy) Mullins of Clintwood, Virginia One Sister: Barbara Mullins of Stafford, Virginia Four Grandsons: Joshua Mullins, Braeden Guy Colley, Jesse Mullins, and Raymond Gilbert Five Granddaughters: Trena Ward, Teneka Stanley, Amanda McCarroll(Mark), Jada Mullins, and Rachel Gilbert One Daughter In Law: Jean Mullins Several great grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be Joshua Mullins, Jesse Mullins, Gavin Mullins, Morgon Cox, Hayden Mullins, Brad Mullins, and Jessie Shawn Mullins Honorary Pallbearers will be Randy Davis and Doug Hawkins. The family will receive friends for a viewing on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Mullins Cemetery, Cutter Creek Section, Clintwood, Virginia. The family will meet at the cemetery. Services will be officiated by Rev. Franklin Hall. Covid guidelines will be followed and masks will be required.
