Kermit Hill, age 81, passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born in Dickenson County and worked and lived in Illinois. Upon retirement, he moved back to Dickenson County. He was of the Christian faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Adkins Hill; his parents, Tommy and Minnie Musick Hill; his sister, Dorothy Newell; and his brothers Charlie Hill, Raeford Hill, Paul Hill, Estil Hill, and Tranver Hill. He is survived by: Long time family and friends: Eddie and Denna O’Quinn Two Sisters: Beulah Jackson of Alabama and Lillie Stone of Chicago, Illinois His loving companion: “Gracie” Best Friend: Tollie Fleming Several nieces and nephews The family will receive friends Sunday, February 13, 2022 at 6:00 p.m. with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Jerry Vitatoe officiating at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. A prayer service will be conducted Monday, February 14, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Joyce Vance officiating. Masks and social distancing will be required. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood, Virginia. Friends, nephews, and family will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tollie Fleming and Eddie O’Quinn.
