Scott Lee Boyd, age 54, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2022 at his residence. He was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a member of Tarpon Freewill Baptist Church. He was co-owner of Boyd’s Construction Company for 21 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Stella Boyd; his brother, Ronnie Boyd; his sister, Karen Baker; and his grandson, Austin Boyd. Survivors Include: Wife: Pamela Boyd Children: Alex (Jessica) Boyd, Sammy Boyd, Scotty Boyd, Eric McClain, Garrett (Vanessa) McClain, and Mary French Five Brothers: Charlie Boyd, Lester(Susie) Boyd, Mike(Jennifer) Boyd, Randy(Wendy) Boyd, and Bobby Joe (Leisa) Boyd Special Friend: Larry (Bonichia) Vitatoe Special Dog: Lila Grandchildren: Jeremiah Boyd, Jacob Boyd, Kylee Boyd, Abigail Williams, Hunter McClain, Luke McClain, Isaiah McClain, Haley Hamilton, Teri Hamilton, Kaitlyn Hamilton, and Ashton Hamilton Several nieces and nephews The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel with Jerry Vitatoe and Rick Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Phipps Memorial Cemetery, Clintwood, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Boyd’s Construction, Kevin White, Timothy Mullins, Steven Boggs, Gilberto Vega, Sergio Sandoral, Brandon Boggs, Cameron Boggs, Jesus Figueroa, and Eric McClain. Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrett McClain, Larry Vitatoe, and Roger Boyd. Mullins Funeral Home and Staff are serving the Boyd family.
