She was born at home in Clinchco, VA on April 15th, 1936 to the late Lonza and Dolly Rose. She loved to visit the library and is reported to have read at least 1,877 books since the year 2004, but was a member of the public library well before the computer system and had an original paper library card. She loved to go on long walks with her grandchildren and travel with her late husband, visiting every state in the continental US as well as Alaska. She was a mother to everyone who met her and was truly one of the sweetest people God ever created. She was also a member of Little David Old Regular Baptist Church. Sue was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 Years Clarnie Estis Lyall, as well as her son Jeffrey Allen Lyall, and her sisters; Frankie Anderson and Zulla Campbell. She is survived by her brother William “Bill” (Goldie) Rose Children; Stephen (Judy) Lyall, Heather (Rodney Albright) Lyall, and Timothy (Karen) Lyall. Grandchildren; Michelle Payne, Eric (Laura) Lyall, Stephanie (Greg) Mullins, Sarah (Matt) Neal, Tyler Lyall, Sydney Lyall, Dillon (Whitney) Lyall, Bailey Mitchell, Kimberly Albright, Cassidy Albright, and Lydia Albright. Great-grandchildren; Brittany Cottrill, Jeffrey Wallace, Markus Mullins, Isabella (Zane) Leonard, Seth Lyall, Alex Lyall, Evan Lyall, Emmie and Wilder Lyall. Ej stanley, Missy Tipton. Austin Stanley and Samantha Stanley and 5 great grandchildren Kambree, Maverick Chloe Tipton, Drew Tipton, Lucas and Fate Hess.. Family will receive friends on Thursday July 6, 2023 from 6:00 pm with services at 7:00 pm at Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be conducted Friday July 7, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with Elder Buster Mullins, David O'quinn, Eddie Newsome, and Danny Yates officiating. Graveside services will follow in the Anderson-Yates and Lyall Cemetery, Clinchco Section. Pallbearers will be grandsons Eric Lyall, Tyler Lyall, Alex Lyall, Seth Lyall, Evan Lyall and Dillon Lyall.
