Timothy Dawson Smith

Timothy Dawson "Smitty" Smith, age 20 passed away Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Dickenson County Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Dickenson County and a 2019 graduate of Ridgeview Highschool. He was saved and baptized when he was 8 years old and attended Mt Olive Freewill Baptist Church. He was an employee of McFall’s excavating and just completed his welding degree from Mtn Empire Community College. He was an Avid outdoorsman whom loved to hunt and fish. He is preceded in death by his maternal Great Grandparents John W. and Madge Mullins and Maternal Great Grandmother Florence Neece, Paternal Grandparents Verlon and Betty Smith. Survivors Include: Parents: Brian and Vanessa Smith Two Brothers Trevor Smith and Cody Smith Sister: Cloie Smith Grandmother: Pauline Mullins Grandparents: Johnny and wife Annie Mullins (known as Granny) Also Survived by a host of Cousins, Friends, Aunts and Uncles. Family will receive friends Thursday August 27, 2020 at 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm where a funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the Mullins Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery 218 Violets Trailer Court Clintwood Virginia. Pallbearers will be Dalton O’Quinn, Alex Fleming, Tallon Neece, John Mullins and Keith Smith.
