Box 928 210 Main Street Clintwood, VA. 24228 Phone 276-926-4646 Fax: 276-926-9887 Bradley O’Neil Goins, age 76, relocated to his heavenly home Friday, April 6, 2018, peacefully in his sleep on Goins Fork. He was a 1960 graduate of Clintwood High School. He was a very proud member of Clintwood Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon through the ‘80s. Bradley was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving 1961-1969 including a tour in Vietnam as a hydraulic mechanic working on aircraft. He met Dorothy Foster on May 19, 1962 and married her on November 9, 1962. Their 1st child, Michael, was born 1964; their 2nd, Rusty in 1966; James in 1973 and Kara in 1975. He was active with the Clintwood Greenwave Booster Club, coaching in the community and always a prominent member of any group maintaining the CHS FieldHouse. He was preceded in death by his parents Barthel Bradley Goins and Laura Elkins Goins, sisters Carol Ann and Avinell, and brothers Randall and Gregory. Survivors include: The love of his life and wife of 55 years, Dorothy Foster Goins, Sons: Michael O’Neil Goins (Debbie Zawila), Russell (Rusty) Goins James Barthel Goins (Pasqualine Goins) Daughter, Kara Goins Adkins (David Adkins) Sister, Kay Goins Wilson. Also, several nieces and nephews, 19 Grandchildren and 7 Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Monday April 09, 2018 at 2:00pm at Clintwood Baptist Church with funeral services will be conducted at 3:00pm with Clergyman Joe Hutchinson and Joe Glen Sluss. VFW Services will be conducted following the services. Pallbearers will be Mathew Hill, James Goins, Christopher Hill, Larry Hill, Michael Heath Goins, Norman Lewis, Russell Heath Goins, Jr., and David Adkins. Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of the Clintwood Baptist Church, Mike Strickler and Mike Yates. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Clintwood Baptist Church P.O.
