Glenda Stanley

Glenda Rachelle Stanley (Mullins), age 84, of Clintwood, Virginia, entered her heavenly home on October 6, 2025, surrounded by love at her home. Born on April 2, 1941, Glenda lived a beautiful life grounded in faith, family, and kindness. Glenda was strong in her faith and loved to serve the Lord. She found great joy in cooking for her family and friends. She was well known for her peanut butter fudge candy that everyone looked forward to. She loved her family deeply and had a special place in her heart for little children, who always brought her so much happiness. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, Elder Stanley; her two daughters, Carol (Jimmy) Mullins and Angie Stanley; and her son, Donnie (Mary) Stanley. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Misty Steele, Jenny (Sean) Duncan, Scotty (Natasha) Kendrick, Tessa Kendrick, Dustin (Emily) Stanley, and Carlie (Josh) Ramey; 26 special great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Glenda is also survived by her sisters, Mona Mullins and Marcelle Powers, and her brother, Danny Joe Mullins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Samantha Mullins; her daughter, Irene Witt; her son, Deron Stanley; her four brothers, Roger, Arthur, Benny Allen, and Bobby Neal Mullins; and her sister, Francis Shortt Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM at Mullins Funeral Home in Clintwood, VA, with funeral services beginning at 7:00 PM, with Clergy Frank Hall officiating. Family and friends will gather at Mullins Funeral Home at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 9, 2025, to proceed to the Stanley Cemetery in Stone Hollow, Clintwood, VA, for interment. Glenda will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her loving heart, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her. Though she will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort knowing she has entered her heavenly home and is at peace in the arms of the Lord. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Mullins, Sean Duncan, Todd Hall, Scotty Kendrick, Randy Boyd, and Dustin Stanley. "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures.
